Application

Installation of a seamless waterproofing and protective coating for structures subject to constant exposure to UV, water, alkalis, oxidation and aging processes (roofs, foundations, bridges, tunnels, hydraulic and underground structures, wells, drains, funnels, drains, artificial reservoirs, etc.) . Mastic is applied on any bases: concrete, artificial and natural stone, marble, slate, wood, ferrous and galvanized metals, plastics, polystyrene, glass.

Advantages

  • The coating is not subject to aging for 20 years.
  • Possibility of drawing on the damp basis and high adhesion to the majority of building materials.
  • High elasticity of the material.
  • Possibility of manufacturing a seamless waterproofing coating on horizontal and vertical planes, as well as in hard-to-reach places and on bases with complex terrain.

Composition

Modified bitumen-latex water emulsion of low viscosity (STO 77310225.008-2015).

Specifications

Coating thickness (regulated by the project / terms of reference / technological map), mm: 2/4/6
Conditional strength, MPa, not less than: 0.2
Elongation at break, %, not less than: 800
Strength of adhesion to the base, MPa, not less less than: 0.4
Flexibility on a bar with a radius of 5.0 ± 0.2 mm, °С, not higher: -15
Heat resistance for 5 hours, ºС, not lower: 100

Technology

  • The coating is carried out using special equipment for airless spraying - by supplying liquid components through two high-pressure channels in a ratio of 5: 1: a bitumen-latex emulsion and a coagulant (10% CaCl2 solution).
  • The hardening of the jelly-like air-drop mixture occurs instantly when the components are mixed on the surface of the base.
  • A detailed description of the work performance technology is presented in STO 77310225.008.1-2015. “Sprayed bitumen-polymer emulsion mastic “Brit” Liquid rubber. Application Rules".

Package
