Mastic for the device of crushed-stone-mastic expansion joints (DSh) provides:
- Efficient operation of LH in II–V climatic zones.

Materials packed in drums are transported on pallets in covered vehicles by all means of transport in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force for this type of transport. When loading into vehicles, the drums are installed in no more than 4 rows in height. Products are stored in closed dry rooms or places protected from direct sunlight and precipitation at temperatures from minus 20 °C to 35 °C.
- Cut and butcher the expansion joint chamber.
- Blow out with hot compressed air.
- Treat the walls of the weld chamber with a Brit polymer primer.
- Cover the cavity of the seam with mastic heated to a temperature of (180 ± 5) °C. Heating above 200 °C is prohibited. The mastic layer on the walls should be 3-5 mm, on the bottom - 5-10 mm.
- Prepare stone materials: heat the crushed stone to 180–200 ° C, treat it with mastic heated to operating temperature, or use blackened crushed stone heated to 100–120 ° C.
- Fill in layers with hot crushed stone, followed by pouring the layer with mastic, heated to a working temperature of (180 ± 5) °С.
